Developed in collaboration with Dirk Geuer and the YOU Foundation – Education for Children in Need of UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Ute-Henriette Ohoven, #Art4GlobalGoals is an international awareness campaign for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that aims to raise awareness of the United Nations Agenda-2030 by the means of art. As the first female artist, Rita Sabo was now chosen to interpret artistically the 17 SDGs. In the center of this exhibition at the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris stands her sculptural interpretation of our world as a global and holistic habitat: The Sacred Planet. As a symbol of worldwide justice, peace, equal opportunities, and gender equality The Scared Planet emphasizes the urgency of implementing the UN’s agenda by 2030 and calls for immediate action and support.
