SCULPTURE PARK

In the Name of Quality – An International Center for Contemporary Sculpture in the Heart of Europe
The Düsseldorf Sculpture Park under the artistic direction of Dirk Geuer

As a tribute to German art patron Gabriele Henkel, a remarkable sculpture park is being created on her former family estate in Düsseldorf under the artistic direction of Dirk Geuer. Permanent installations by internationally acclaimed artists such as Tony Cragg, Erwin Wurm, Bernar Venet, Julian Schnabel, Heinz Mack, Arne Quinze, Jörg Immendorff, Markus Lüpertz, and Jiri Dokoupil will define this unique space.

Dirk Geuer has worked internationally as a curator, exhibition organizer, and publisher since 1987, collaborating with renowned figures like Günther Uecker, Christo & Jeanne-Claude, Julian Schnabel, David LaChapelle, Bernar Venet, and Erwin Wurm. With decades of experience in realizing major art projects, he is deeply connected within global cultural networks.

As curator, Geuer brings the elite of contemporary art to the Düsseldorf Sculpture Park, which will also host temporary exhibitions in a dedicated new venue. International scope and the highest artistic quality form the foundation of this extraordinary platform for contemporary sculpture in the heart of Europe.
