For World Oceans Day 2022, UNESCO turned its Paris headquarters into a floating-in-spirit gallery: the Organization welcomed German neo-expressionist Stefan Szczesny’s 17 painted sails from the project SAILING #Art4GlobalGoals. Conceived by curator Dirk Geuer in partnership with the YOU Foundation – Education for Children in Need (UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Ute-Henriette Ohoven), the initiative transforms boat sails into vibrant interpretations of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
